Ferny Grove State High School Block X in Brisbane, Queensland is a finalist in the Commercial and Multi Residential Exterior category in the 2020 Dulux Colour Awards.
The colourful design explores the buildings function as a STEM centre by using a number of bright colours from the Duratec Intensity range, paired with subtle and neutral colours from the Duratec Zeus range.
The cellular facade incorporates an appropriation of the division of elements in the periodic table by arranging colour left to right to represent various metals and gasses.
