In a time of uncertainty - marked by geopolitical unrest, economic pressures, and our growing reliance on digital connection - many are turning inwardly, looking for refuge and renewal. This feeling drives a strong shift towards comforting and nurturing colours that foster positivity, well-being, and a secure haven.
This year, the 2026 Colour Forecast moves away from the bolder, more energetic contrast schemes of previous years in favour of rich, warm earth-based neutrals, deep berry hues, and a spectrum of green shades - from soft sage and spearmint to rich olive - alongside gentle pinks, dusty rose, and calming pastels. Warm grey adds a depth and softness, creating sophisticated spaces that feel welcoming and restful. Each palette features colours from across our decorative paint coatings and Dulux Powder Coat colours.
