Duralloy is designed for: Residential developments equivalent to Class 1 or Class 10 of the Australian Building Code BCA96; Residential buildings up to 3 floors from the ground and; Properties greater than 100 metres from salt water. Duralloy is a new high durability performance powder coating that has very good scratch resistance properties and a 30% improvement in UV resistance over standard powder coatings. With an improved appearance, tougher formulation and available as stock in over 80 fashionable solid and pearlescent colours, Duralloy lends itself well to aluminium window frames and doors. Whilst the warranty is limited to aluminium prepared by Dulux Registered Applicators, Duralloy may be applied on a variety of other substrates (eg metal, glass); basically, most substrates that can withstand a heating temperature of 200oC may be coated with Duralloy.
